We finally have Hugo's sandbox setup and he LOVES it!! I think I grabbed the tote and sand toys about two months ago and we had been waiting on Byron to grab the sand. When he was going to pick it up it started raining out which meant the sand would be too heavy to move, so we decided to wait. Then things got busy and Byron just did not have the time to grab it. Oma came to the rescue and grabbed some sand for Hugo's sandbox last week. Hugo is one lucky boy to have such a wonderful Oma!!
There's one problem with the sandbox, however, it is really hard to get Hugo to come inside because he loves it so much!
Lately the Lil Man has really been into his puzzles. It still amazes me watching him figuring out were all the pieces go at such a young age and getting them all right relatively quickly. He is so focused also when he is trying to figure it all out ...
I do not know why, but I like having kids music playing in the background when Hugo is playing. Let me tell you he has his favourite songs. Jack & Jill, The Wheels on the Bus and the following song are a couple of his favourites. At this particular moment the Itsy Bitsy Spider came on (one of his favourite songs) and he instantly stopped what he was doing so he could listen to it.
I think he has gotten so use to music playing in the background, that he turns his little stereo on himself. What was your favourite song when you were little?
