Diana Meatballs {4 of 10}

We first had Diana meatballs at Byron's family Christmas many years ago (probably close to 10 years ago). Byron's Aunt Carla use to host it at her house and one year she made these meatballs for the dinner buffet. When Byron was in college he stayed at her place for a couple weeks and she gave us the recipe. We could not believe how tasty they were and how easy they are to make. I have changed how I prepare them slightly - literally it is one tiny change because we were finding they were turning out super acidic from the Diane sauce (I add some water).

Take 1 bottle of Diana Original and pour it into the crockpot. Fill the bottle half way with water, shake it and add it to the crockpot.

Add your frozen meatballs of your choice [we prefer the Swedish type]. Set the crockpot on low for 6 hours. I find these do best being cooked slowly on low heat.

That's all there is to it.

I usually make mashed potatoes and a veggie to accompany the meatballs.

Enjoy!
